  Called Wednesday and was told to come in Monday morning for emergency dental. Walked in right at business hours begun for 9am with a serious dental emergency (full tooth and gum trauma, car accident) and was told I couldnt be seen for two weeks and to try Dr.Tilyuk next door. As I am crying in agony I walked next door to find out they were closed!! I asked why they would send me next door when they were closed when this is obviously an emergency and they told me to look in the yellow pages. Had $3000 in my pocket as my insurance doesn't cover the full cost of care but as I made no mention of my income I was turned away in serious pain.

  I will change the review provided Smith Family Dentistry remedies the situation. If not let this be a warning to heed by anyone searching for emergency dental services who lives downtown St.Catharines. Not everyone who lives Downtown is low income!! I was treated like dirt!

  Dr. Smith and his team is amazing. My daughter sees Daryl and he is phenomenal. So kind with her. The staff always great patients and their family members with s smile. I can't say enough of this team.

  I have a bad filling with a cavity that has been bothering me for a few weeks. I went to their office to get an appointment and the old cranky lady at the front told me I couldn't make an appointment even though I was at their office (?) but mentioned I have to call to make an appointment. so, my wife called them to make an appointment and the same old cranky lady told her to tell me to go back to the same dentist were the filling was done and that they couldn't help me. I don't want to go back to the same because they did a bad job. I thought that smith family dentistry was a good firm but thankfully to their customer service and willingness to help I think they are as bad as the dentist who did a bad job on my teeth.

  Wife and I have been going here for several years now from Lockport NY. Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Smith did a filling for me last week and made the experience quick and easy! Love this practice!
